Swimming & Diving: All Three Titans Make Top 13 Friday at NCAA Meet
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - All three Westminster College swimmers attained at least an honorable mention for All-America status in the 100-yard breaststroke Friday during the third day of the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships held at the University of Minnesota Aquatics Center. Sophomore Caitlin Lehberger (New Wilmington, Pa./Wilmington) earned her second All-America nod and second fourth-place finish of the meet as she took fourth in the 100 breaststroke with a school-record time of 1:03.79 in the finals Friday night after going 1:04.12 in the preliminary. On Wednesday in the 200 individual medley, Lehberger became the Westminster women's team's first-ever NCAA All-American and first All-American overall since 1994. more |

Out of the 20 Titans who met the criteria, 14 earned first-team honors (7 men, 7 women), matching the exact total as last year, while six were named to the second team (3 men, 3 women). |

Swimming & Diving: Three-Day Recap of Westminster at the PAC Championships GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Westminster College men's and women's swimming and diving teams each placed second at the 2010 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships as part of the 47th annual Grove City College Invitational held Feb. 18-20. The Titans won a combined 16 out of 40 events (8 men's, 8 women's), posted three NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifying times (1 men's, 2 women's), broke five school records (2 men's, 3 women's), and established three times (1 men's, 2 women's) that were PAC and Grove City pool records. |
Swimming & Diving: Westminster Takes Second at PACs After Winning Five Events on Final Day GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Westminster College men's and women's swimming and diving teams each placed second in the 2010 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships after the Titans won a combined five events on Friday in the last of three days of competition as part of the 20th annual Grove City College Invitational. For the entire three-day meet, Westminster won a combined 16 events. |
