Golf: Titan Women In First Place, Men Fourth After Fall Rounds of PAC Championships
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. - After 36 holes of the 72-hole Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's and Women's Golf Championships, the Westminster College women's golf team leads a five-team field while the Titan men's team is in fourth place out of seven teams. The first two rounds of the PAC Championships were held Monday and Tuesday at the Oak Tree Country Club in West Middlesex, Pa. The final two rounds will be held April 23-24, 2012 at Cedarbrook Golf Course in Belle Vernon, Pa., to determine the 2011-12 PAC Championship. The Westminster women shot a 381 on Monday and a 377 Tuesday to finish with a 758 for the first two rounds as the Titans lead Washington & Jefferson (383-377 760), Grove City (393-390 783), Saint Vincent (395-431 826) and Thomas More (672-604 1276). more |

Women's Golf: Titans Open Season with Eighth-Place Finish at Mercyhurst ERIE, Pa. - The Westminster College women's golf team opened the 2011-12 season by placing eighth out of nine teams at the Mercyhurst Invitational held Saturday and Sunday at the Downing Hills Golf Course in Erie. The Titans shot a 370 on Saturday and a 378 on Sunday for a two-round total of 748. Walsh won the event with 315 each day for 630. |

Westminster Women Place Second, Men Third in 2010-11 PAC All-Sports Trophy Standings NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -Westminster College athletics placed in the top three for both of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) All-Sports Trophy standings for 2010-11. The nine Titan men's teams placed third out of eight schools in the PAC with 43 points. The nine Titan women's teams, who won the all-sports trophy the previous four years, placed second out of nine schools in the PAC with 59 points, falling two points shy of new winner Grove City. |

Women's Golf: Westminster 2010-11 Season Review NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - For a third straight season, the Westminster College women's golf team had at least one player finish in the top three and one in the top 10 at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships. As a team, the Titans placed third out of four teams in the PAC after three-and-a-half rounds played in both the fall and the spring to determine the championship. |
