Westminster Wins 2007-08 PAC Women's All-Sports Trophy

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) today announced that Westminster College has won the 2007-08 PAC Women's All-Sports Trophy. The all-sports trophies are awarded annually to the school which performs the best across the board in league competition. First-place finishes are worth eight points with fewer points for subsequent place finishers until last place is awarded one point. The Westminster women's teams accumulated 60 points, including first-place finishes in volleyball, women's soccer and track and field. Westminster also had second-place finishes in tennis, basketball and golf. The Titan men placed third in its place-standings with 38 points. more |
