Men's and Women's Golf: Westminster 2010-11 Season Outlook
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Consistency will be the key for the Westminster College men's and women's golf teams as they enter the 2010-11 season. Both teams are returning at least five players from last year's teams as they vie for the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship. The men's team, coached in his 11th season by Gene Nicholson, returns all six of its lettermen from last year's team that posted a 49-51-1 record in 12 events (16 rounds), including a fourth-place finish at the PAC Championships, the team's third straight year with a top-four finish. more |

Westminster Produces PAC-Best 53 Athletes on Spring Academic Honor Roll NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College led all Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) schools in the PAC Academic Honor Roll for the Spring 2010 semester as 53 Westminster student-athletes posted a 3.6 grade-point average or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition. A total of 327 student-athletes from the 10 league schools were recognized. |

Westminster Captures Fourth Straight PAC Women's All-Sports Trophy; Titan Men Tie for Fourth NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) today announced that Westminster College has won the 2009-10 PAC All-Sports Trophy for women's sports. The Titans also tied for fourth in the men's standings. Westminster's women's teams have captured this trophy for four straight years giving them six women's trophies since the Titans became eligible for the PAC titles in 2002-03. Overall, Westminster has won eight all-sports trophies (6 women's, 2 men's). |

WESPY Awards Culminate 2009-10 Westminster College Sports Year NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Department of Athletics and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee hosted the Seventh Annual WESPY Awards (Westminster Exceptional Sports Performances of the Year) Monday night at the Orr Auditorium. The WESPYs honored team MVPs for all 18 varsity sports teams, as well as several annual awards and recognition of top athletic achievements throughout the 2009-10 academic year. |

Women's Golf: Westminster 2009-10 Season Review NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's golf team placed second in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) in 2009-10, the Titans' fourth runner-up finish since last winning the league title in 2005. The Titans compiled a 19-37 record in 10 events during the school year. |
Women's Golf: Titans' Season Ends with Third-Place Finish at Grove City GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Westminster College women's golf team's 2009-10 season came to an end Saturday as the Titans competed in the Grove City Invitational at the Grove City Country Club. The Titans placed third out of three teams with a score of 393. Allegheny won the event with a 332 followed by Grove City with a 375. |
