The 2012-2013 PAC All-Sports Trophies Announced

GREENVILLE, Pa. - The 2012-13 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) All-Sports Trophies were announced on Thursday. The Titan women's teams placed second with 63.5 points (only four points behind first-place), while the Titan men's programs placed seventh with 41.5 points.

The all-sports trophies are annually awarded to the schools which perform the best across the board in league competition. First-place finishes are worth 10 points (nine for men), second place is worth nine points (eight for men) ... last place is worth one point.

Westminster Celebrates 2012-13 Athletic Accomplishments at WESPY Awards
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Department of Athletics and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee hosted the 10th Annual WESPY Awards (Westminster Exceptional Sports Performances of the Year) Tuesday night at Orr Auditorium. The WESPYs honored team MVPs for all 18 varsity sports teams, as well as several annual awards and recognition of top athletic achievements throughout the 2012-13 academic year.

GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) and each of its 10 member institutions are anticipating an exciting week long celebration of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III as the second annual Division III Week is set to kick off on Monday, April 8 and run through Sunday, April 14.

Women's Basketball: Westminster 2012-13 Season Review
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's basketball team finished 11-15, including a 9-9 mark for fifth place in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) standings. The fifth-seed Titans ended their season on the road in the PAC Quarterfinal game to fourth seed Waynesburg, by a score of 61-53. The Titans were led by 11th-year head coach Rosanne Scott.

Women's Basketball: Hughes Leads 2013 All-PAC Titan Honorees
GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released its 2013 Women's Basketball All-Conference Teams last week. Westminster seniors forward Katie Hughes (Boardman, Ohio/Cardinal Mooney) and guard Jenn Cantella (Freedom, Pa./Freedom) earned spots on the team. Hughes was tabbed on the second team, while Cantella was named honorable mention.

Women's Basketball: Titans Finish 2012-13 Season After 61-53 Loss at Waynesburg in First Round of PAC Tournament
WAYNESBURG, Pa. - The Westminster College women's basketball team ended its 2012-13 season after a 61-53 loss to Waynesburg in the first round of the 2013 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Tournament. The Titans finished the year with an overall record of 11-15, while the Yellow Jackets improved to 14-12 overall and advance to the semifinals.
