2007-08 Season Review: Women's Basketball Finishes Strong as PAC Runner-Up

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - If the season were based on the beginning, the middle, and the end, the Westminster College women's basketball team would consider the 2007-08 season two-thirds of a very successful season.

The Titans won their first six games -- one win shy of the best start in team history -- lost six straight at one point during the middle of the season, and finished the season winning seven out of eight games before losing at the nation's third-ranked team, unbeaten Thomas More, 65-58, in a well-fought Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship game.
