Tennis: Titans Earn ITA All-Academic Honors

SKILLMAN, N.J. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced its 2014 All-Academic Teams. The Westminster College men's and women's teams both earned the ITA All-Academic Team award, while six Titans earned ITA Scholar-Athlete status.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Department of Athletics and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted the 11th Annual WESPY Awards (Westminster Exceptional Sports Performances of the Year) Tuesday night at Orr Auditorium. The WESPYs honored team MVPs for all 18 varsity sports teams, as well as several annual awards and recognition of top athletic achievements throughout the 2013-14 academic year.

Men's Tennis: Titans Finish Sixth at PAC Tournament

ERIE, Pa. - The Westminster College men's tennis team placed sixth out of eight teams at the 2014 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament held Friday and Saturday at the Pennbriar Athletic Club. The Titans compiled eight points. Grove City won the tournament with 54 points.

NEW CASTLE, Pa. - The Westminster College men's tennis team lost, 5-4, as hosts to Washington & Jefferson on Monday at the North Beaver Indoor Tennis Courts. The Titans dropped to 6-7 overall and 4-3 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), while the Presidents improved to 8-8 overall and 5-2 in the conference.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's tennis team lost, 6-3, to the visiting Saints of Thomas More in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Saturday. The Titans dropped to 6-6 overall and 4-2 in the PAC, while Thomas More improved to 3-5 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

BETHANY, W. Va. - The Westminster College men's tennis team won, 7-2, at Bethany in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Tuesday. The Titans (6-5) moved to second in the PAC standings with a 4-1 conference record, while Bethany dropped to 2-6 overall and 1-3 in the conference.

Westminster Prepares for NCAA's Third Division III Week

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster will be joining nearly 450 other NCAA Division III institutions to celebrate Division III Week this week, April 7-13. This is the third year that a week has been set aside by the NCAA to recognize those member institutions whose intercollegiate athletic programs compete in D-III.
