Swimming & Diving: Three Titans Officially Qualify for Nationals
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Three Westminster College swimmers have qualified for the 2010 NCAA Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Championships, released today by the NCAA. The national meet will be held at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis, Minn., March 17-20. Junior Courtney Herdt (Beaver Falls, Pa./Beaver Falls) of the women's team was the one Titan swimmer who made the cut Friday after having a provisional qualifying time, joining senior Ben Gutmann (Cranberry Twp., Pa./Seneca Valley) of the men's team and sophomore Caitlin Lehberger (New Wilmington, Pa./Wilmington) of the women's team who already had their tickets punched with automatic qualifying times. more |

Swimming & Diving: Twenty Titans Listed on All-PAC Teams NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) today announced its 2010 Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving All-PAC Teams and a total of 20 Westminster College swimmers earned recognition. Out of the 20 Titans who met the criteria, 14 earned first-team honors (7 men, 7 women), matching the exact total as last year, while six were named to the second team (3 men, 3 women). |

The Titans won a combined 16 out of 40 events (8 men's, 8 women's), posted three NCAA Division III Championship automatic qualifying times (1 men's, 2 women's), broke five school records (2 men's, 3 women's), and established three times (1 men's, 2 women's) that were PAC and Grove City pool records. |
