Men's Basketball: Westminster Opens Season with Loss at Mount Union
ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Westminster College men's basketball team opened its 2009-10 season with a 73-53 loss at Mount Union on Wednesday night in non-conference action. Junior guard Max Spinner (Boca Ration, Fla./Boca Raton) led the Titans in scoring for the third game of his career as he bucketed 16 points on 5-12 shooting from the field. His 12 shots were double the amount of any of his teammates as the Titans shot 38 percent (18-48) from the floor compared to Mount Union at 50 percent (27-54). more |
