The 2012-2013 PAC All-Sports Trophies Announced

GREENVILLE, Pa. - The 2012-13 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) All-Sports Trophies were announced on Thursday. The Titan women's teams placed second with 63.5 points (only four points behind first-place), while the Titan men's programs placed seventh with 41.5 points.

The all-sports trophies are annually awarded to the schools which perform the best across the board in league competition. First-place finishes are worth 10 points (nine for men), second place is worth nine points (eight for men) ... last place is worth one point.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Department of Athletics and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee hosted the 10th Annual WESPY Awards (Westminster Exceptional Sports Performances of the Year) Tuesday night at Orr Auditorium. The WESPYs honored team MVPs for all 18 varsity sports teams, as well as several annual awards and recognition of top athletic achievements throughout the 2012-13 academic year.

GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) and each of its 10 member institutions are anticipating an exciting week long celebration of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III as the second annual Division III Week is set to kick off on Monday, April 8 and run through Sunday, April 14.

Men's Basketball: Westminster 2012-13 Season Review
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's basketball team finished 7-18, including a 3-13 mark for ninth place in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) standings. The ninth-seed Titans fell to the eight-seeded Waynesburg Yellow Jackets in the PAC postseason play-in game for the second consecutive year.

Men's Basketball: Smith and Thomas Earn All-PAC Honorable Mention
GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released its 2013 Men's Basketball All-Conference Teams Monday afternoon. Westminster guards senior Doug Smith (South Park, Pa./South Park) and junior Anthony Thomas (New Castle, Pa./Union) earned spots on the honorable mention team.

Men's Basketball: Westminster Ends 2012-13 Season at Waynesburg
WAYNESBURG, Pa. - The Westminster College men's basketball team ended its 2012-13 season after a 74-57 loss at Waynesburg on Monday in the 2013 Presidents' Athletic Conference play-in game. The Titans finished the season with an overall record of 7-18, while the Yellow Jackets improved to 10-16 overall and advance to play the no.1-seeded Saint Vincent on Tuesday.
