Women's Basketball: Titans Fall at Nationally-Ranked Thomas More

CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. - The Westminster College women's basketball team lost, 96-32, to the nationally-ranked Thomas More Saints on the road on Wednesday night.

The Saints improved to a perfect 22-0 overall and 15-0 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), while Westminster dropped to 12-10 overall and 9-6 in the conference.

Thomas More led the entire game and took its first double-digit lead with 14:41 remaining in the first half when the Saints led 15-4.

For the game, the Titans shot a season-low 22% (9-41) from the field, while Thomas More shot 44.3% (35-79). The Saints also led on the glass with a 49-35 rebound advantage. Westminster's 32 points also marked a season-low.

Titan Courtney Klein (York, PA / Red Lion) scored a team-high eight points, followed by classmate Allison Borts (Youngstown, OH / Boardman) with seven points. Klein and Borts also led Westminster with seven and six rebounds, respectively. Senior Courtney Zitt (Latrobe, PA / Greater Latrobe) added five rebounds. Klein also had a game-high three blocks.

Sydney Moss led Thomas More with game-highs of 28 points and 10 rebounds.

Westminster will travel to Waynesburg on Saturday with a tip-off time of 1:30 p.m.
