YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Westminster College track & field teams opened its 2013-14 indoor season on Friday at the Youngstown State Icebreaker. A selected number of Titans competed against Division I, II, and III schools at the event.
Westminster placed three in the top-4 four spots in the pole vault. Sophomore All-American Marissa Kalsey (Waynesburg, PA / Waynesburg), freshman Brooke Mancuso (Wexford, PA), and freshman Cassidy Shepherd (Greensburg, PA) tied for second with a 3.65m mark.
Senior Jason Frawley (Franklin, PA / Franklin) placed 10th in the shot put with a throw of 13.06m, while senior Haley Gabor (New Kensington, PA / Ford City) finished 15th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.14.
Westminster will be back in action in January with the date and location yet to be determined.
