NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team tied Saint Vincent, 0-0, in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Saturday. The Titans went to 7-5-1 overall and 2-0-1 in the PAC, while the Bearcats moved to 6-5-1 and 1-1-1 in conference play.
Titan sophomore goalie Maddy Frech (Leechburg, PA / Kiski Area) played solid between the pipes and earned six saves (five in the second half) on the night in a complete match effort.
Westminster out-shot Saint Vincent 11-9, while Titan sophomore Krista Edwards (Summerville, PA / Springdale) had a team-high three shots. The Titans had a total of four shots on goal.
The Titans will travel to Thiel on Wednesday with the starting time of 6:30 p.m.
