PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Westminster College men's cross country team placed second at the Chatham Invitational on Saturday. The Titans scored 48 points out of nine schools. Senior Aaron Sutton (Warren, OH / Howland) led Westminster with a third-place finish, out 90 runners, with a time of 30:57.1.
Rounding out the top-five finishers for Westminster were freshman Matt Slagle (Bruin, PA) (6th/31:22.8), senior Kyle Filicky (Poland, OH / Poland) (7th/31:50.3), freshman Matt Cramer (Champion, PA / Connellsville Area) (14th/32:21.5), and sophomore Cody Schreiber (Johnsonburg, PA) (18th/32:30.2).
Westminster will take a week off and compete at the Slippery Rock Invitational on Oct. 12.
