Women's Soccer: Titans Fall, 4-1, Against PS-Behrend

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team lost, 4-1, against non-conference foe Penn. State-Behrend on Saturday. The Titans dropped to 3-2 overall, while the Lions improved to 4-2-1.

The Lions scored two goals in the first half and two in the second.

Westminster scored its lone goal in the 58th minute when freshman Sammy Creese (Mount Airy, MD / Glenelg) received a tap pass in the box from senior Jordan Steele (Falconer, NY / Falconer Central) for the score. This was Creese's first goal of her collegiate career.

Titan goalie Madeline Frech (Leechburg, PA / Kiski Area) got the loss in 59 minute of play. Frech gave up three goals and earned seven saves.

Westminster is back in action on Monday when it travels to Franciscan for a 5 p.m. kick-off.
