NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's cross country finished fifth in its season-opener as hosts of the Fisher Invitational on Saturday.
Westminster junior Jenny Jones (Erie, PA / Fort LeBoeuf) led the Titans as she finished in the top-5 with a fourth-place finish (26:13.8).
Saint Vincent finished first with 37 points, while Saint Vincent's Genie Fratto was the top individual finisher with a time of 25:14.3.
Completing the team finishers were Geneva (54 pts.), Waynesburg (90 pts.), Franciscan (Ohio) (100 pts.), PS-Altoona (159 pts.), Carlow (185 pts.), Pitt -Greensburg (203 pts.), and Hiram (222 pts.).
The Titans are back in action Sept. 14 when they travel to Waynesburg.
