ESPN3 to Carry the 2013 College Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony from Atlanta

Tuesday, August 27, 2013

IRVING, Texas - The National Football Foundation (NFF) and the College Football Hall of Fame announced that ESPN3 will carry live the 2013 Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony on Aug. 28 from the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta.

Westminster quarterback Joe Micchia '90 is one of 24 college football players that will have their careers showcased as part of the ceremony. The quarterback becomes the third Titan player (fifth overall, including two coaches) to enter the College Football Hall of Fame.

The sold-out event will be emceed by award-winning broadcaster Wes Durham.

Hosted by the Atlanta Hall Management and the Atlanta Sports Council, in partnership with the NFF, the event marks the first time that Atlanta will preside over the Enshrinement Ceremony. The celebration builds on the significant progress made on the construction of the new 94,256-square-foot home for the Hall, which will open in the fall of 2014 in the heart of Atlanta's sports, tourism and entertainment district surrounding Centennial Olympic Park.
