GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Westminster College men's cross country team was selected to tie for seventh in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), according to the 2013 PAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Titans tied with Geneva with 25 points each.
Westminster seniors Aaron Sutton (Warren, Ohio/Howland) and Kyle Filicky (Poland, Ohio/Poland) and freshman Matt Cramer were on the Runners to Watch list.
Saint Vincent garnered eight of the nine available first-place votes and collected a total 80 points to top the poll. Grove City was picked to finish second after claiming the final first-place vote and totaling 73 points. Waynesburg earned 57 points to finish third, followed by Thiel (48) in fourth, Washington & Jefferson (41) in fifth, Thomas More (34) in sixth, Geneva (25) and Westminster (25) tied for seventh and Bethany (22) in ninth.
Westminster opens its season as hosts of its annual Fisher Invitational on Saturday, August 31.
