NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's and women's swimming and diving teams received Scholar All-America Team Awards from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their academic performance during the fall 2012 semester.
The CSCAA presents the Team Scholar All-America Award to swimming and diving programs who earn a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
The women's team earned a 3.26 cumulative grade point average in the fall semester, while the men's team amassed a 3.22 cumulative GPA.
Both Westminster swimming and diving teams had a successful year in the classroom and the pool. The Titan men were crowned 2013 Presidents' Athletic Conference Champions, while the women finished second.
