SOMERS, Wis. - The Westminster College men's swimming & diving teams earned a spot on the Endless Pools/CollegeSwimming.com Men's Division III Top 25 for the week of Nov. 6. The Titans were ranked 24th with 74.3 points.
The rankings were based on meets swum Oct.15-Nov. 4. Points for the Endless Pools/CollegeSwimming.com Top 25 are calculated using the average percentile rank of each team's top twenty-seven in each meet. The Top 25 are ranked according on the basis of each team's highest-scoring meet within the previous three weeks.
Titan sophomore Jake Pletz (Venetia, PA / Peters Township) was part of three first-place finishes guiding Westminster to a 144-to-136 win at Allegheny last Saturday. Pletz was part of the 400 yard freestyle relay team that secured a Titan win as they placed first in the last event. Pletz also won in the 200 yard freestyle (1:47.17) and 200 yard backstroke (1:59.07).
Westminster will host Bethany this Saturday at 1 p.m.
