NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected softball sophomore Kelsey Squelch (Pittsburgh, PA / Perry Traditional) as its SAAC Titan Athlete of the Week.
Last week, Squelch led the Titans with seven RBIs, while totaling a team-best 11 bases. She batted .389 and was named to the All-PAC Second Team, her first conference honor of her career.
Westminster posted a 22-19 record and an 11-7 mark for third place in the PAC. The Titans led the conference in sacrifice hits (46), assists (389) and double plays turned (20).
