Women's T&F: Westminster SAAC Honors Gabor as Titan Athlete of the Week

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected women's track & field sophomore Haley Gabor (New Kensington, PA / Ford City) as its SAAC Titan Athlete of the Week.

Gabor led the Titans to their fourth overall PAC Championship over the weekend by being selected the 2012 PAC Women's Track and Field MVP, marking the first ever Titan to win this award. Gabor set stadium records with a first-place finish in the 400-meter dash (57.96) and a second-place finish in pole vault (3.1). Gabor was first in the 200-meter dash (26.11) and was also part of the 4x400-meter relay team who won with a time of 4:09.11.

Selected team members of the track and field team will compete at the Slippery Rock Qualifier Friday.
