T&F: Bell Named Men's Field Athlete of the Week for Second Straight Week

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - For the second straight week, senior Ryan Bell (New Wilmington, Pa. / Wilmington) of the Westminster College men's track and field teams was named Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the week of April 23-29.

Bell broke the Geneva stadium record in the javelin toss with a first-place throw of 66.48 meters. It also shattered the meet record by over 11 meters and broke his own school record that he set a year ago.

Westminster will compete at the PAC Championships next Friday (3 p.m.) and Saturday (11 a.m.) hosted by Geneva College.
