BELLE VERNON, Pa. - The 2012 PAC Men's Golf Spring Championship, a 36-hole event scheduled for April 23-24, 2012 at Cedarbrook Golf Course in Belle Vernon, Pa., has been cancelled due to poor weather/course conditions. As a result, the 2011-12 PAC golf team titles and postseason award winners have been determined exclusively by the 36-hole results of the 2011 PAC Fall Golf Invitational, which took place September 26-27, 2011 at Oak Tree Country Club in West Middlesex, Pa.
The Titans shot a 625 (310-315), good for fourth-place. Washington & Jefferson won (295-305 600), followed by Saint Vincent (294-311 605) and Thiel (299-319 618). Grove City (305-322 627), Thomas More (320-341 661) and Bethany (325-346 671) trailed Westminster.
Earning All-PAC First Team honors for Westminster was senior Dave Mlinarich (North Huntingdon, PA / Norwin) who shot a 150 (74-76) for fourth-place. This is Mlinarich's first All-PAC accolade of his career.
