Wiand Named to D3baseball.com Team of the Week

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Senior Tim Wiand (Pottstown, PA / Owen J. Roberts), a member of the Westminster College baseball team, was named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week for the week of April 9.

The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its inaugural season of recognizing the top performance at each of thirteen positions from the previous week. This is the sixth Team of the Week of the 2012 season.

Wiand led Westminster by batting .625 (10-16) last week, while the Titans went 3-1. Wiand had five doubles and two home runs. Along with seven runs scored, Wiand drove in team-high 11 RBI.
