NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected sophomore track and field athlete Anthony Thomas (New Castle, PA / Union) as its SAAC Titan Athlete of the Week for the week of March 19-25.
Thomas posted four victories total in two different meets for Westminster College last week. On Tuesday at the Grove City Invitational, Thomas won all three jumping events. In the high jump he posted a mark of 1.78 meters, long jump- 6.68 meters, and triple jump- 12.93 meters.
On Saturday at the Muskingum Invitational, Thomas earned a victory in the long jump with a mark of 6.54 meters.
Westminster will travel to The College of Wooster on Friday for a 3:30pm meet time.
