GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Westminster College volleyball team won a pair of matches at Grove City Friday night by beating Grove City, 3-2 (25-17, 30-28, 25-27, 20-25, 17-15), in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match before blanking D'Youville, 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-14), in a nonconference match.
The Titans are now 12-7 on the year and 4-3 in the PAC.
Senior outside hitter Tara Ott (Camp Hill, Pa./Cedar Cliff) led the Titans in both matches with 14 kills vs. Grove City and eight kills and 11 digs vs. D'Youville.
Sophomore outside hitter Megan Romocean (Ravenna, Ohio/Southeast) pounded 11 kills vs. Grove City and junior Tara Incerpi (Carrollton, Ohio/Minerva) served up three aces.
Other Westminster notables for the D'Youville match included sophomore setter Katie Palkovic (Camp Hill, Pa./Trinity) handing out 33 assists and freshman outside hitter Julie Powell (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) hammering seven kills to go with two aces.
Westminster travels to Bethany Wednesday at 7 p.m.
