NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College junior women's soccer player Sarah Nee (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) today received two weekly awards for her play last week. The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) named Nee the PAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Members of the Westminster Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) also voted Nee the SAAC Titan Athlete of the Week.
In two wins last week, Nee scored five goals on 11 shots. She scored all three goals in a 3-0 non-conference home win over Baldwin-Wallace on Saturday. The junior forward also netted two goals in a 7-0 non-league home win on Wednesday over Pitt-Greensburg.
Westminster (7-2) has now won seven straight games after starting the season 0-2. The Titans play Wednesday at Fredonia State for a 5 p.m. start.
