GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Westminster College women's golf team placed fourth at the Grove City Spring Invitational on Monday. The Titans scored a team score of 418.
Clarion won the event with a team score of 376. Karina Palmberg from Point Park was the medalist with an 84 (43-41).
Junior Morgan Pierce (Fredonia, PA / Reynolds) led Westminster with a 100 (53-47) for a tie for 14th-place. Sophomore Carly Boughner (Cooperstown, PA / Rocky Grove) followed with a 103 (51-52). Rounding out the scorers for the Titans were senior Jenna Huston (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) (104/52-52) and junior Keri Hamilton (Coudersport, PA / Coudersport) (111/58-53).
Westminster will next compete at the PAC Championships starting on Friday, April 25 at 1 p.m. at the Cedarbrook Golf Club in Belle Vernon, Pa.
