High Fives: March 3-March 9

High Fives are the Top-5 performances by Westminster athletes during the previous week as selected by the Titan Sports Blogger.

#1 - Senior Nick Reinthaler (Baseball) led the Titans to a 2-0 start of the 2014 season in their spring break trip to Florida. Reinthaler batted .625 (5-for-8) at the plate between the two games. He also led Westminster with a team-high six RBI and added one run, and one double. Reinthaler also led on the defensive end with a perfect field percentage (a team-best 15-for-15) at first base.

#2 - Senior Lauren Stoczynski (Softball) led the Titans to a 2-0 start of the 2014 season in their spring break trip to Florida. Stoczynski led the Titan offense with four RBI's and went .429 (3-7) from the plate, including one run and a double.

#3 - Senior Scott Hanicak (Baseball) earned a complete-game shutout-win in the Titans' season opener. Hanicak gave up no runs off six hits, while racking up six strikeouts and two walks.

#4 - Sophomore Amber Forrest (Softball) came in relief for the Titans during the second game of their Florida trip and secured a win pitching four scoreless innings and only gave up one hit. Forrest had three strikeouts, one walk, and had an opponent batting average of .071.

#5 - Senior Caitie Hosler (Women's Tennis) won at number 1 doubles, 8-5, with freshman partner Mariah Turiano on Sunday. Hosler also picked up a number 1 singles with a 6-2, 3-6, 10-2 tie-breaking victory.
