High Fives: Jan. 20-Jan. 26

High Fives are the Top-5 performances by Westminster athletes during the previous week as selected by the Titan Sports Blogger.

#1-Sophomore All-American Marissa Kalsey (Women's Track & Field) placed second out of 22 participants in the pole vault on Friday at the Youngstown State University Invitational.  Kalsey's mark of 3.85 meters was only .10 off from a school-record she set at last year's Indoor Nationals. Kalsey's mark topped competitors from Division I programs including West Virginia and Virginia Military Institute.

#2-Sophomore Matthew Baurle (Men's Swimming & Diving) broke two pool records on Saturday in a Titan men victory at Saint Vincent, 150-108.  Baurle broke the 100-yard breaststroke (58.68) and the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:11.02.  The Titan men improved to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in the conference.

#3-Junior Steven Brooks (Men's Swimming and Diving) also broke two pool records for the Titan men on Saturday.  Brooks took the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 51.34, along with a 100-yard freestyle victory (48.00).

#4-Senior Amanda Marlow (Women's Swimming & Diving) led the Titan women to a 153-101 win over Saint Vincent on Saturday.  Marlow broke a pool record in the 200-yard butterfly, finishing at 2:12.70.  The Titan women improved to 8-2 overall and 4-0 in the PAC.

#5-Senior Erin Erdley (Women's Swimming & Diving) touched first in the 200-yard backstroke for the Titan women on Saturday.  Erdley's time of 2:13.78 also broke a pool record in a Titan sweep of Saint Vincent.

Honorable Mention:
-Senior Courtney Zitt (Women's Basketball) garnered 18 points for the Titans on Saturday at Washington & Jefferson.  Zitt also brought down seven rebounds and three assists for the Titan women.  The Titans host Thiel on Wednesday in a conference showdown.

-Senior Anthony Thomas (Men's Basketball) scored in double digits for the Titans on Saturday with 18 points.  Thomas also had seven assists, four rebounds and three steals for the Titans against Washington & Jefferson.  The Titan men host Thiel on Wednesday in conference play.
