Wednesday, November 20, 2013SOUTHFIELDS, N.Y. - Five members of the Westminster College football team were selected to participate in the 5th Annual D3 Senior Classic Scout Bowl featuring the top Division III football players in the nation.
The players are seniors Dak Britt (Battle Creek, MI / Battle Creek), Sean Christofferson (New Wilmington, PA / Wilmington), Aaron Nauer (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler), Collin Wallace (Mechanicsburg, PA / Cumberland Valley), and Dave Wright (Solon, OH / Solon).
The D3 Classic Scout Bowl is the only game exclusively dedicated to showcase the top Division III football players in the country and is hosted by the Collegiate Development Football League. It will be a North vs. South all-star game format. League representatives from the NFL, CFL, UFL, IFL, AFL, and European professional scouts will all be at this three day event. This is a player supported game in which players are eligible for limited college sponsorship. This game was developed by the CDFL to promote professional opportunities for American players in Europe.
The game will be held Friday, Dec. 13, in Salem, Virginia.
