NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected football senior Dak Britt (Battle Creek, Mich. / Battle Creek) as its SAAC Titan Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 11.
Britt rushed for a career-high 245 yards and four touchdowns and threw for 169 yards and another score in the Titans' 45-37 four-overtime loss at Thiel Saturday night. His 38 rushing attempts are the most by a PAC player since Geneva's Gerard Muschette collected 38 carries against Washington & Jefferson on Oct. 23, 2010, while his 245 rushing yards established new Westminster and PAC records for yards gained on the ground by a quarterback. The senior from Battle Creek, Mich. tied the school record for rushing touchdowns in a game and finished just 10 yards shy of establishing the schools' single-game rushing record.
Westminster will host Geneva on Saturday at 1 p.m. for Senior Day.
