Women's Cross Country: Titans Place Seventh at PAC Championship

GIBSONIA, Pa. - The Westminster College women's cross country team placed seventh out of ten schools with 177 points at the 2013 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship on Saturday. The six-kilometer event took place on the campus of Chatham.

Grove City won the event with 33 points. Wolverine Emily Rabenold placed first with a time of 21:45.60.

Titan junior Jenny Jones (Erie, PA / Fort LeBoeuf) paced Westminster with an 11th-place finish with a career-best PAC Championship time of 23:29.50. Jones earned Second Team All-PAC honors for the third-straight year.

Senior Erin Sullivan (Aurora, OH / Aurora) finished next for Westminster in 34th-place (25:51.70), followed by freshman Jenny Rodgers (State College, PA / State College) (26:15.40), sophomore Sara Monts (Duncansville, PA / Hollidaysburg Area) (26:42.80), freshman Keilah Ireland (Nashua, NH / Nashua North) (26:50.30), junior Kristine Haggerty (Pittsburgh, PA / Thomas Jefferson) (26:51.00), and senior Bethany Kifer (Hermitage, PA / Kennedy Catholic) (27:29.20).

Westminster will participate in the 2013 NCAA Cross Country Mideast Regional on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Lehigh University. The event will start at 11:00 a.m.
