High Fives: Oct. 14-Oct. 19

High Fives are the Top-5 performances by Westminster athletes during the previous week as selected by the Titan Sports Blogger.

#1 - Freshman Sammy Creese (Women's Soccer) continues to serve as a mainstay on Westminster's defensive unit this season, helping the Titans post a pair of PAC shutouts last week. Westminster registered a 1-0 win at Thiel on Oct. 16 before earning a 1-0 victory over Geneva on Oct. 19. Creese scored the eventual game-winner off of an assist from senior Jordan Steele in the 53rd minute against Thiel.

#2 - Senior Caitie Hosler (Women's Tennis) earned Player of the Year honors guiding the Titans to their second-straight PAC championship. No. 1-seeded Hosler was crowned champion at no. 1 singles with a 6-3, 6-2 win.

#3 - Titan senior Collin Wallace (Football) had a career-day with career-highs 11 receptions and 175 yards to go along with a score against Washington & Jefferson.

#4 - Senior Katie Palkovic (Volleyball) dished-out a team-high 102 assists guiding Westminster to a perfect 3-0 record last week. Palkovic also added 32 digs which was second on the team.

#5 - Titan sophomore Ethan McCarthy (Men's Soccer) scored a game-high two goals, including the game-winner, in Westminster's 5-1 win over Thiel. The Titans went 1-1 last week in two PAC matches.

Honorable Mention:

- Senior Heather Santa (Women's Tennis) did not lose a single game while winning no. 4 singles at the PAC Championships guiding Westminster to its second-straight title.

- Senior Lexi Starheim (Volleyball) led the Titan offense with 30 kills in three matches as Westminster went a perfect 3-0.
