WAYNESBURG, Pa. - The Westminster College men's cross country team placed third at the Waynesburg Invitational on Saturday.
Titan freshman Matt Slagle (Bruin, PA) paced Westminster in the 8K race with a 15th-place finish with a time of 28:45.9. Senior Aaron Sutton (Warren, OH / Howland) followed in 17th (28:51.8). Rounding out the top-20 finishers for the Titans was senior Kyle Filicky (Poland, OH / Poland) who finished 20th (29:02.0).
Westminster will take next weekend off and will return to the course on Sept. 28 when they compete at Chatham.
