The 2012-2013 PAC All-Sports Trophies Announced

GREENVILLE, Pa. - The 2012-13 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) All-Sports Trophies were announced on Thursday. The Titan women's teams placed second with 63.5 points (only four points behind first-place), while the Titan men's programs placed seventh with 41.5 points.

The all-sports trophies are annually awarded to the schools which perform the best across the board in league competition. First-place finishes are worth 10 points (nine for men), second place is worth nine points (eight for men) ... last place is worth one point.

The Westminster women's teams only trailed Grove City who totaled 67.5 points. The four-point margin of victory is the lowest since Grove City (61) edged Westminster (59) in the race for the 2010-2011 All-Sports Trophy. Rounding out the women programs were Washington & Jefferson (61), Thomas More (49), Waynesburg (45), Geneva (44.5), Saint Vincent (42.5), Thiel (38), Bethany (33.5) and Chatham (18.5).

Washington & Jefferson (66) won for the men's teams, followed by Grove City (56), Saint Vincent (53), Thomas More (49.5), Waynesburg (49), and Thiel (45.5). After Westminster were Bethany (30.5) and Geneva (26).
