NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected women's track & field freshman Marissa Kalsey (Waynesburg, PA / Waynesburg) as its SAAC Titan Athlete of the Week for the week of May 6.
Kalsey won the pole vault at the Slippery Rock University Last Chance Qualifier on Friday as she broke her own school-record with a mark of 3.97 meters. Kalsey broke the school's indoor pole vault record with a 3.95 meters mark at Nationals where she earned the distinction of All-American this past winter.
Selected team members will compete at Allegheny College on Friday, May 10.
