High Fives are the Top-5 performances by Westminster athletes during the previous week as selected by the Titan Sports Blogger.
#1-Marissa Kalsey (Track and Field) - Kalsey finished in third-place at the 2013 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships Friday at North Central College in Naperville, IL, earning the distinction of All-American in the process. Kalsey cleared 3.95 meters breaking her own school-record for the fourth time this season.
#2-Liam Halferty (Baseball) - Halferty picked up two wins as starting pitcher for the Titans during their spring trip in Fort Pierce, FL. In his first win, he pitched his first career complete game. The senior finished the week going 2-0 with a 1.38 ERA in 13 innings pitched.
#3-Jared Heck (Baseball) - Heck had a strong showing for the Titans in Florida, leading the team with a .423 batting average (11-26). He led the team also in stolen bases (4), on base percentage (.543), runs scored (9), and walks (6). The Titans finished their spring trip with a record of 7-3.
#4-Alex Bailey (Tennis) - Bailey helped lead the Titans to a perfect spring trip in Hilton Head, SC. She won all three of her singles matches as well as being a part of three winning doubles teams.
#5-Allison Hryadil (Softball) - Hryadil led the Titan softball team with a .385 batting average (10-26) in 10 games last week. In addition, she led the team in doubles (4), on base percentage (.485), walks (6), and slugging percentage (.538). The lady Titans finished up their spring trip in Kissimee, FL with a record of 3-7.
