Women's Track & Field: Westminster SAAC Honors Jones as Titan Athlete of the Week

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected women's track & field sophomore Jenny Jones (Erie, PA / Fort LeBoeuf) as its SAAC Titan Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 28.

Jones broke the school-record in the 5,000 meter run with a tenth-place time of 19:24.24 as the Westminster College track & field teams competed at the Youngstown State University Invitational on Friday.

The Titans are back in action when they compete at Mount Union in the Jim Wuske Invitational on Saturday.
