NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Senior guard Doug Smith (South Park, PA / South Park) of the Westminster College men's basketball team was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for the week of December 3.
The Team of the Week presented by Scoutware is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll, in its 16th season of recognizing the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week.
Smith scored a career-high 40 points (14-of-23), including a career-best 10 three-pointers (10-of-17) in the Titans' 92-87 overtime loss at Washington & Jefferson. Smith's 10 three-pointers (six in the second half) ranked second all-time in Westminster history, only one away from the record (Mark DeMonaco '04 with 11).
