GREENVILLE, Pa. - Freshman Matt Baurle (Jeannette, PA / Penn-Trafford), a member of the Westminster College men's swimming and diving teams, was recognized by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) as the Men's Swimmer/Diver of the Week for the week of Nov. 19.
Baurle highlighted Saturday's win over Wooster as he set a pool-record in the 100 breaststroke (58.42). He also won the 200 yard breaststroke (2:10.35) and was part of the winning 400 yard medley relay team (3:33.57). Against Washington & Jefferson, Baurle placed first in both the 100 yard breaststroke (58.76) and 200 yard breaststroke (2:18.28) and was part of the 200 yard medley relay team that won with a W&J pool-record time of 1:38.25.
Westminster will next compete at the Wooster Invitational, a three-day invitational, starting November 29.
