GREENVILLE, Pa. - Senior Alex Bailey (Murrysville, PA / Franklin Regional), a member of the Westminster College women's tennis team, was recognized by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) as the Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 8. This was Bailey's seventh PAC weekly honor of her career.
Last week at number one singles, Bailey topped Washington & Jefferson (6-0, 6-3), Franciscan (6-0, 6-0), and Chatham (6-0, 6-0). Bailey also paired up with junior Caitlin Hosler (Lititz, PA / Manheim Central) for three number one doubles wins (8-0, 8-0, and 8-2). Bailey has won 36-straight matches dating back two years ago. The Titans are currently 12-0 overall and 7-0 in the PAC.
The Titans will host Division II Edinboro (4-1) on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
