GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Westminster college women's golf team won the Grove City Invitational in rainy conditions on Saturday. Titan sophomore Morgan Pierce (Fredonia, PA / Reynolds) was the medalist with a 95 (52-43). Westminster, as a team, shot a 415.
Grove City was second with a 433, while Thiel and Penn-State Behrend competed as individuals.
Following Pierce was sophomore Jordan McGee (Punxsutawney, PA / Punxsutawney), 99 (50-49), freshman Kailee Decker (Grove City, PA / Grove City), 110 (59-51), junior Rachel Sharman (North East, PA / North East), 111 (57-54), and junior Jenna Huston (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk), 120 (54-66).
Westminster is back on the links in the Spring when they compete at Grove City on March 23.
