NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team fell, 2-0, to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Geneva College Saturday night. The Titans dropped to 4-6-3 overall and 0-2-1 in the PAC, while the Golden Tornadoes improved to 6-5-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
Geneva scored its two goals in the first 11 minutes of the first half. Maura Allen scored at the 9:07 mark and Rhetta King scored at the 11:11 frame.
For the game, Westminster outshot Geneva 11-10. Westminster freshman Krista Edwards (Summerville, PA / Springdale) led the Titans with two shots on goal.
Titan senior goalie Jenn Cantella (Freedom, PA/Freedom) earned two saves in 90 minutes of play.
Westminster will travel to Thomas More Wednesday at 2 p.m.
