Monday, September 17, 2012NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's tennis team stayed undefeated on the season with its third-straight shutout on Monday. The Titans blanked Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Thiel, 9-0, at home. Westminster improved to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in the PAC, while the Tomcats dropped to 2-6 overall and 1-3 in the conference.
Earning shutouts for Westminster was senior Alex Bailey (Murrysville, PA / Franklin Regional) at no. 1 singles, junior Heather Santa (Butler, PA / Butler) at no. 4 singles, and all three doubles.
The Titans are back on the courts Friday as they host Pitt-Bradford at 4 p.m.
