LATROBE, Pa. - The Westminster College women's golf team competed at the Lady Bearcat Invitational on Monday. The invitational was hosted by Saint Vincent College at the Glengarry Golf Links, a par-70 golf course.
Westminster competed against four Division II and four Division III schools. The Titans placed first out of the DIII schools and fifth overall with a 403 team score.
Junior Rachel Sherman (North East, PA / North East) paced the Titans with a 96 (48-48) for a 20th-place finish. Sophomore Morgan Pierce (Fredonia, PA / Reynolds) also made the top-25 with a 98 (48-50) for 22nd place. Also competing for Westminster was senior Rebecca Schuster (Oil City, PA / Oil City) 103 (51-52) and freshman Carly Boughner (Cooperstown, PA / Cooperstown) 106 (51-55).
Next up for the Titans is the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships that will be held next Monday at the Oak Tree Country Club.
