Westminster Second in PAC with 50 Names on Spring 2012 Academic Honor Roll

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College was second in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) with 50 student-athletes named to the Spring 2012 PAC Academic Honor Roll. A total of 360 student-athletes from the PAC's 10 schools posted at least a 3.6 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale during the semester.

Combined with 375 honorees on the Fall 2011 honor roll, the PAC honored a total of 735 student-athletes during the 2011-12 academic year, tying the all-time record conference total of 735 honorees set in 2010-11.

Waynesburg University led the 10 league schools as 59 Yellow Jacket student-athletes earned PAC Academic Honor Roll laurels in the spring, followed by Westminster, Washington & Jefferson College (48), Grove City College (44), Saint Vincent College (41), Geneva College (29), Thiel College (29), Bethany College (27), Thomas More College (23) and Chatham University (10).
