Current Team Notes:
The Titans are riding on a four-game winning streak going into the 2012 PAC Tournament. Westminster, the second-seed, will play the third-seeded Thomas More on Thursday. The Titans are vying for their first PAC Championship since 2005. Earlier in the season, Westminster swept the Saints in a doubleheader, 5-4 and 6-1, before losing in extra innings, 10-9, in a nine-inning contest. Last week, Westminster topped Saint Vincent 8-4 on Monday before sweeping Waynesburg in a three-game series; 10-2, 3-2, and 7-4. Three Titans batted .500 or higher. They were senior Tim Wiand (.563) and juniors Kyle Allen (.533) and Justin King (.500). Wiand and Allen led the team with six RBIs each. Seniors Justin Prejsnar and Vince Iosue earned a complete-game win with ERAs of 1.00 and 1.29, respectively.

The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) today named five members of the Westminster College softball team to the 2012 All-PAC Teams. Two Titans were named to the first team and three were listed on the second team. Earning first team accolades included third baseman senior Erica Kimmick designated player junior Layne Carpenter. This is Kimmick's and Carpenter's first all-PAC honor of their careers. Westminster players earning second-team honors included sophomore second baseman Kelsey Squelch, junior shortstop Katie Hughes, and junior pitcher Chelsea Brown. Westminster posted a 22-19 record and an 11-7 mark for third place in the PAC. The Titans led the conference in sacrifice hits (46), assists (389) and double plays turned (20).

The Westminster College track and field teams have two more meets before the qualified athletes compete at the NCAA National Championships (Claremont, Calif.).
