MEN'S BASKETBALL (3-14, 2-7 PAC)

The Westminster Titans Men's Basketball team split a pair of conference games last week. Junior F Adam Carswell's (Painesville, OH / Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) tip-in after a missed free throw with three seconds left in the second half forced overtime in which the Titans won 82-81 against Geneva. A second chance layup from freshman G Ben Donlow (Poland, OH / Poland Seminary) with 1:02 on the clock proved to be the game-winner. Junior G Doug Smith (South Park, PA / South Park) had a game- and career-high 29 points with a career-best seven three-pointers. Junior G Ron Martino (Youngstown, OH / Cardinal Mooney) added a career-high 15 points. The Titans fell to Saint Vincent 79-47 on Saturday; Westminster was on the wrong end of runs of 8-0, 13-2, 7-0, and 6-0. Carswell led with 12 points and tied a career-best three blocks.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL (4-12, 4-6 PAC)

Current W/L Streak: L/1

The Westminster Titans Women's Basketball team split a pair of conference games last week. The Titans topped Geneva 55-43 after they struggled during the first half shooting only 25% from the field (8-31). The women came out in the second half shooting a much higher percentage at 47% (14-30). Junior F Katie Hughes (Boardman, OH / Cardinal Mooney) led Westminster with 14 points. Senior F Emily Dolsak (McDonald, OH / McDonald) tied a season-high with a game-high 11 rebounds. On Saturday, Westminster was beaten 66-44 by Saint Vincent. Sophomore G Courtney Zitt (Latrobe, PA / Greater Latrobe) led Westminster with 11 points, while freshman F Jenna Grandy (Sharpsville, PA / Sharpsville) scored a career-high 10 points.

The Westminster College men's and women's swimming and diving teams hosted a double dual meet on Saturday against Carnegie Mellon University and SUNY Geneseo. The women lost to Carnegie Mellon 124-163 and to SUNY 132-158. The men fell to Carnegie Mellon 95-198 and 122-165 to SUNY Geneseo. Senior Caitlin Lehberger (New Wilmington, PA / Wilmington) was part of the women's four first-place finishes (one relay and three individual), while senior Mike Barringer (Boardman, OH / Boardman) led the men with a first-place individual score and as a member of a first-place relay team.
