NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College baseball team wrapped up its historic 2012 season with its first trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament, along with a school-record 28 wins. The Titans (28-17) won its second Presidents' Athletic Conference Title in school history and had seven players named to the 2012 All-PAC Team, to tie a school record.  Head coach Carmen Nocera, who has resigned after 13 years with the program, was tabbed 2012 PAC Coach of the Year, while senior first baseman Tim Wiand (Pottstown, PA/Owen J. Roberts) was the first Titan to earn the conference most valuable player.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) has named Westminster College senior baseball players Tim Wiand (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) (first baseman) and Justin Prejsnar (New Castle, PA / New Castle) (pitcher) to the 2012 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Mideast Region Teams. Wiand earned a spot on the first team, while Prejsnar was tabbed on the second team.

Marietta, Ohio - Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Baseball Champion Westminster College (28-16) lost, 13-7, to St. John Fisher (30-10) in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Mideast Regionals on Wednesday. The tournament is hosted by Marietta College. The Titans, the No. 5 seed, will play the loser of game two consisting of the No. 1-seeded Marietta and No. 8-seeded La Roche, while the No. 4 Cardinals will play the winner of the same game.

New Wilmington, Pa. - The 2012 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Baseball Champion Westminster College today tied a school-school record with seven players being named to the 2012 All-PAC Team, while senior first baseman Tim Wiand (Pottstown, PA/Owen J. Roberts) was named the PAC Most Valuable Player, for the first Titan ever to earn this award, and veteran Titan head coach Carmen Nocera was tabbed 2012 PAC Coach of the Year, his second of his career.
