Men’s Basketball: Belize Trip Blog - Part 4

Sunday, June 29, 2014

***Members of the Titan men's basketball team share about their 2014 Belize trip in this exclusive blog.

"To start the day, we had breakfast at the Princess Hotel. After breakfast, we had a two-minute ride to the local airport. We watched the Brazil-Chile World Cup game while waiting to board our plane. Our plane was very unique in that it only held fifteen passengers, the smallest plane any of us have ever been on. It was a fourteen-minute flight from Belize City to San Pedro, all over the Caribbean Sea. The water was very clear. Once we landed in San Pedro, we took an eight-minute water taxi to Coco Beach Resort. Upon arrival, we received a short tour of our resort. In our resort, we have multiple pools, a hot-tub, a water slide, and a jumping rock. We also have the beach just steps from our resort. We all instantly changed into our bathing suits to enjoy the beautiful weather by the pool. We spent the majority of the day swimming in the pool and enjoying the hot tub. After swimming, we walked up the beach to a restaurant called Captain Morgan's where we ate dinner (mostly chicken fingers and pizza). The rest of the night, we hung out as a team and bonded over Super Smash Brothers."
