Track & Field: Gabor and Kalsey Set School Records at Ohio Wesleyan

DELAWARE, Ohio - Select members of the Westminster College outdoor track & field teams competed at the Ron Althoff Invitational on Monday hosted at Ohio Wesleyan.

Senior Haley Gabor (New Kensington, PA / Ford City) and sophomore Marissa Kalsey (Waynesburg, PA / Waynesburg) paced the Titans with school records in their respective events. Gabor placed second in the 200 with a school-record time of 25.20. Gabor also broke her own school record in the 400 with a time of 56.87 for second place. Kalsey won the pole vault with a school-record mark of 4.01 meters, breaking her own record from last year.

Senior Anthony Thomas (New Castle, PA / Union) had a personal-best mark in the long jump with a leap of 6.93 meters. Thomas added a fifth-place in the triple jump (13.50m). Freshman Scott Hughes (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler) lowered his time in the 200 at 23.24.

Select Titans will compete at North Central College on Thursday and Friday.
