MEADVILLE, Pa. - Two members of the Westminster College outdoor track & field teams competed at the ninth annual Gator Invitational hosted by Allegheny College.
Student-athletes from over 25 different schools, and all three NCAA classifications, took part in the day-long event.
Titan senior Jason Frawley (Franklin, PA / Franklin) set a personal best in the shot put with a third-place mark of 15.12m, only .20 meters off from tying a school-record that was set in 1995 (Booker Newberry, 15.32m).
Frawley also placed 16th in the discus with at toss of 36.70 meters.
Sophomore Nick Fiorentino (Franklin, PA / Franklin) placed 12th in the shot put (12.90m) and 14th in the discus (38.97m).
Westminster will next compete at North Central College in the Gregory Invitational, starting on May 15.
